Welcome to the Elite AI Bull Project

The aim of this project is to provide you with information to help develop the performance of your herd through the use of Artificial Insemination (AI). Once you have completed the process you will be able to claim 50% funding up to £500 to purchase straws from superior genetic AI bulls. The funding can also contribute towards the cost of insemination.

Eligible bulls must: 

• Be in the Top 75% on Calving Value/Calving Ease Direct, and  
• Have at least two other traits or index in the top 10% of its breed.
 
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the bull has the suitable traits to compliment the herd, please click here for the project requirements.
